Salman Khan, After he sang a track in( Kick ) 2014, decided that he will apparently lend his voice to a song for his home production. The film in question is a remake of Hero (1983), which will launch Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty as actors.
A source close to Salman says, "A few days back, he went to Himesh Reshammiya's (music composer) office to hear the songs for Sooraj Barjatya's next. Not many know that while he was there, Salman recorded the track. He was in a good mood, and they made the song in a few hours."
For the same sequence, another track was composed by Amaal Mallik, and sung by Salman. It is unclear which of the two will be used in the film.
Incidentally, the actor's first tryst with Bollywood singing was also with Himesh, for a track in Hello Brother (1999).
